Serial leaker Jon Prosser has moved to quash questionable rumours that Apple will launch a brand new iMac the moment this week.
Rumours concerning the impending launching of an Intel-based iMac using an unchanged layout emerged on the weekend, however, originated in Twitter accounts without a history for true leaks.
At a tweet reacting to an information report on the rumours, Prosser stated only, “Nope,” then followed up :
“If you’d like the newest iMac, keep a lookout for August, Apple will launch a brand new iMac”
Transport occasions for current iMac versions are postponed for months, and it has led several observers to consider that an iMac refresh could be in the horizon.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has stated Apple intends to match its present Intel-based iMac from the next quarter of 2020 before launching an iMac using Apple Silicon after this season.
